Bailongball combines two things: meditation and purposeful movements
Bailongball is based on China’s cultural values: mindfulness, striving for harmony, calm and staying centered These values are rooted in four principles:
柔 圆 整 退
Rou Yuan Zheng Tui
Rou – flexible, gentle and smooth: the moves are elastic and the game with others is friendly and calm.
Yuan – round: the ball’s trajectory is circular / curved.
Zheng – holistic: the power comes straight from the center of the body and moves are always complete and benefit the entire body.
Tui – reverse: rather than being hit with the racket, the ball is received softly and redirected.
