On November 27, 2023, for the first time in St. Petersburg, the Russian-Chinese
Festival on creative exchange of novelties and achievements in the innovative sport – BailongBall was held (Juli Chow – the traditional name of this sport and rehabilitation method in China).
Representatives of 6 regions took part in the festival:
Moscow, St. Petersburg, Lipetsk, Vsevolzhsk, Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod.
In his welcoming speech, the Head of the Chinese delegation Zhang Linin thanked the President of the Interregional Association of Rollball Olga Ardasheva for the invitation and the opportunity to exchange experience. In her reciprocal speech, Olga thanked her friends for the opportunity to meet, expressed the hope that the Festival will become a good annual Tradition and that such Festivals will give a new impetus to the development of this sport in Russia. She is expecting more than 200 athletes of different age categories next year, including young people with experience in the competitive game discipline. She expressed that this discipline is very interesting for Russian athletes.
Singles or doubles – Game was popular!
There were Russian folk dances, round dance songs performed by the Northern Capital ensemble, performances with rockets and balls, ribbons and drums, as well as flying dragons.
And of course various Art Choreographies were presented – Individual as well as Standard
At the end of the presentations, medals were awarded and honors bestowed
